About Jamese
Jamese Taylor, LSWAIC
You don’t need the right words. You can just exhale.
My hope is that when you come into our sessions, you feel like you can exhale. You don’t need the right words, a place to start, or everything figured out. We’ll work through it together.
I bring warmth, curiosity, and humor into therapy because healing doesn’t have to feel stiff or intimidating. I know trusting someone new can be hard, especially if you’ve felt misunderstood by systems that were supposed to support you. Trust isn’t something I expect. It’s something we’ll build together.
As a queer, mixed-race Black and Latina therapist, I know how our identities, communities, and experiences shape the way we move through the world. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and built around you. Whether you’re navigating OCD, anxiety, depression, identity, or a life transition, you deserve to feel heard and respected.
Therapy isn’t about fixing who you are. It’s about understanding yourself, finding what works for you, and building a life that feels like your own.
